Omochi - (Japanese rice cake made of glutinous rice pounded into paste and molded into shape)
Here is the ingredient list for this episode:
Tanaka
- Wanko Soba (served with dipping sauce)
- Pitan - Fermented duck egg (foul smelling)
- Cricket Tsukudani (prepared by simmering in soy sauce, sugar and mirin)
- Frisk (minty candy)
- Tohato Habanero potato rings snack (spicy)
- Natto (fermented soybeans), Okra and Tororo (grated Japanese yam)
- Sashimi combination platter
- Ochazuke (dried ingredients; can vary between seaweed, fish, umeboshi etc) served with hot tea, water or dashi (soup base)
- Candy apples
- Pop Rocks candy
- Wedding cake (Bonus ingredient)

ReplyDeleteI couldn't find the right place to post this comment about the Absolutely Tasty videos available for download. I just got the Pizza one (subbed by ShibataBread), but it doesn't seem to be hardsubbed, nor is there a sub file. I can see the subtitles on every other hardsubbed file I've downloaded. Do you think you could double check that please? Thanks!

Hi Ben,
ReplyDeleteShibataBread has his .ass sub file up for download, but I don't believe he has the .avi file for it. You can get it here: http://gaki-no-tsukai.com/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=235
Since this will not be hardsubbed, be sure that the title of the .ass and the .avi files are the same. Example: pizza.avi and pizza.ass, then play both of them in your media player.

Hey Zurui, maybe it's just me but this video won't load? I've seen all the other absolutely tasty vids on this website this past week and this one is the only one that doesn't work. Have any alternative links?
